Enermax Aurora keyboard

Price: Around £45

Enermax is well known for its line in Power Supplies. But did you know that the Taiwanese firm also makes keyboards? The Aurora is an aluminium keyboard with laptop-style keys. It's also got audio ports on the side so that you can plug your headset into your keyboard.

Having your audio ports on your keyboard is actually quite cool, since it means you don't have to reach around the back of your machine if you want to take your headphones with you for your iPod or to use on another device. The keyboard has a USB plug to connect to your machine and two audio jacks alongside that, so you can plug those into the back of your rig.

The keys are just like those on a standard laptop, which means a small amount of travel and quite a light, 'clacky' touch. The aluminium fascia is pretty nice with a sleek, brushed look.

However, with a recommended price of around £45, it is simply too expensive. A keyboard has to be pretty special to warrant that amount of cash, and audio ports really aren't enough to justify that in our mind.
